The Image and The Web
I think I was stuck too long on assignment 10 and did not see how long assignment 11 took. I think I took around a total of 20 hours on assignment 11. Pulling all nighters and forgetting to eat. Very unhealthy things a young college student does.
The semantic was definitely way easier this time around for assignment 11. I think what I learned this week was building on previous skills.
I think the hardest part was rearranging the positions of everything.
My thoughts are very scattered. As you can probably tell I am rushing my thoughts because this week was so hectic.
Between my other summer class and my internship and volunteering I really got like 5 hours of sleep this week. I am going to fall asleep writing this.
I am writing this in my current train of thought. At the moment my memory goes blank for assignment 10. I forgot what I did for it. I remember submitting a screenshot and doing a group chat.
(5 min later) now I remember. It was a further details on semantic elements. I found this very helpful. However, I do not think I knew how to do a good one until assignment 11.
I think other than formatting and learning the position tag in CSS was too difficult.I am so happy that I now know how to put things in any order on the page I want. Instead of just going in chronological order in the code for things to show up right under each other.
Also I feel like it would’ve been easier if I inserted all images at the same time before rather than one by one and doing the CSS one by one as well.
Overall, it wastes more time. However I like it that way because it gives me more freedom to move things around. I can move every tiny thing around because I separated them.
It is definitely way harder to do it that way and requires more coding. For anyone who has time and is willing to do that, I recommend it. However, if you are submitting it for an assignment like me or there’s a time limit to the deadline I would try and find a faster way to do it.
Perhaps, I will try and find a faster way sometime this summer.
