There is nothing better than practice. Here you'll find a few resources that can help you prepare for that technical interview.

In general, try these:

  • Practice as much as you can.
  • Understand what tool the company provides. With that information, explore their website and find try to find guidelines about how to prepare.
  • Practice explaining your logic out loud — what you're doing and why. This will help you during a pair programming interview.
  • Don't try to memorize solutions — you will get confused during the interview, trust me.

HackerRank

HackerRank is widely used in the industry and it does provide some preparation kits. You can find the kit here. You can also explore some of the FAQs and support here.

LeetCode

LeetCode appears in many articles about getting ready for that tech interview. They offer plenty of resources about questions, and community support to help you prepare for your interview — here. Finally, there is a new feature called "Online Interview" that seems pretty neat — this person explains how to use it.

InterviewCake

Interview Cake was created by Parker Phinney in 2013 after helping a friend with her interviewing process. The website has plenty of resources — for free or for a price. Just go there and have fun!

Geeksforgeeks

One of my favourites! They have many resources for job seekers in so many different layers. On top of that, they are also a community in which people support each other. Definitely click here!

CodeSignal

CodeSignal is used by many big companies and also provides resources for candidates. These are a few examples.

Coderbyte

Coderbyte is another solid tool with more resources for candidates. The developer website has many options to prepare, such as articles, kits, and challenges. Definitely worth exploring it for free.

Pramp

Different from all the above, Pramp will help you practice with a real person. They pair you with the best person for your needs and support during the interview. In the end, you also receive feedback about how you did. I've never purchased the service, but you can find some feedback about it here.
