Way to ask a dame on a date

I have to admit you have me a bit perplexed. In a previous article, which I commented on quite sarcastically, you came off as a rather unpleasant person in my opinion. In fact I might go so far to say that you struck me as an awful person. Your description of the traits possessed by a real man were vain and materialistic. In this post you also suggest that material concerns factor heavily in your decision regarding the suitability of a potential date. For example suitor #1 says things that suggest to you he might be “broke”. Clearly the implication that he might be is a major concern.

Yet I found myself impressed by the clarity of your arguments and the obvious thoughtfulness demonstrated by the decision making process you describe. I worry that women and men often decide who they will and will not let into their lives based on the thinnest of rationalizations. He or she is not attractive enough, they wear the wrong clothes, or they like the wrong things. In in this case none of those trivial issues seemed to concern you. Your sole focus is on the method and approach a potential date employed when asking you out. He either said the right things and made you feel special and appreciated or he did not. Clearly I misjudged you earlier. The man who can win your heart is truly special and unique. As long as he is not broke or rides a bike and knows precisely how to ask for your attention he has a better than average chance of you agreeing to go out with him. I can only hope that someday I might ascend to this level of potential mate suitability. So far I have only reached stage 1, financial and professional success. Plus I drive a car.

Mastering the intricacies of the female psyche and optimizing my communication style to meet the needs and desires of all women is the next skill I seek to master. When that day comes I will send you a text or an email or use the appropriate communication tool and ask you out Christina. The message will be so well crafted, its tone and style perfectly selected, you will have no choice but to accept my proposal. Only then will I have reached dating nirvana. Only when we sit across from each other at the Olive Garden, sharing a bottle of wine, will my dating mastery be complete. I await that night with breathless anticipation.

One clap, two clap, three clap, forty?

By clapping more or less, you can signal to us which stories really stand out.
