A truly amazing and inspiring piece, with so much more resonance than the gossiping ‘Jay Z cheated on Beyonce’ articles that keep popping up. You articulated so beautifully how it’s so much bigger than that. Your references to being called ‘difficult’ really rang true, I feel like we see and know how to call out injustice as children, but as you said we interpret being called difficult as being ‘difficult to love’ and thus turn on ourselves.
