Hi all, today I watched this video:

Here is the list of new ideas:

  1. We get used to passively consume new stories (movie, theater);
  2. Its high time for us to get the ability to actively consume (influence on what we see);
  3. Amazing idea: game with only sound that you can base on, choices and sound, no image! It is a breakthrough! Really great!
  4. To make people buy tickets is emotional response that people get passively consuming the story;
  5. OMG, the speaker also showed the 2013 version of Pokemon GO — the pinguin going in your camera AR and shows you the path to aquarium. And it was written in JS! Awesome;

This talk was worth watching, although the first part was rather misleading! What an idea with only-sound game! Thank you, Astrid! Good luck with getting PhD!
