Hearing recently on an episode of #askgaryvee about advice to his younger self hit all too close to home. As much as I’d Pride myself on having perfect timing in most anything including life I’d have still told my younger self to work harder. The time I had that I filled with partying is great when I’m writing and needing to pull from life experience but watching my work from that time that had all the makings of what young digital video was and what it became. I always should have had a look around when I was doing things with friends, seen things going on youtube, I wouldn’t have felt like such shit. Now looking back I was where many now great people were. I’m looking around now, now that I don’t know….. I got my head out of my ass. I had been told that many times. Series of unfortunate events I guess grounded me. Put me on flat ground, ready to take it on.
