SVH Welcomes Paul Dawson, Our New Lead Front End Engineer

Earlier this year, SimplyVital Health (SVH) relocated to the Boston area for several reasons, including the deep pool of tech talent we want to tap into. We already hired our new Lead Data Scientist, Camille Chicklis, and we’re now making our second Boston hire with Paul Dawson. Paul is our new Lead Front End Engineer and full-stack developer, with a track record of delivering fast and dependable solutions. We are excited to welcome him to the SVH team.
Paul graduated from MIT with a degree in Mechanical Engineering, focusing on biomedical devices. He conducted research in the MIT Media Lab to develop an application for Google Glass that has been used by NBA coaches to pull up live statistics on players during games. His passion for software engineering, developed at the intersection of healthcare and technology, makes him the perfect addition to SimplyVital Health.
After graduation, Paul began consulting at different startups and Fortune 500 companies where he developed his skills in full stack development with projects such as custom web apps, native mobile apps, and REST APIs One of these was Cox Automotive, where he worked with executives to build internal web applications/tools and native mobile applications (ios and android) for the executives to display the health of the company and subsidiaries. Paul also spent time at Moderna Therapeutics, a biotech startup, where he developed and maintained a cloud-based suite of application microservices that enabled the real-time design, ordering, and production of pharmaceutical products.
We’re excited to welcome Paul’s talents and passion for healthcare innovation to the SVH team and look forward to his contributions to Health Nexus, ConnectingCare, and our vision of a better global data access system.
