The Whole Genome Sequencing that I scheduled with DanteLabs turns out didn’t happen as easy as I expected it to be. DHL in Indonesia refused to send my saliva samples outside of the country to their labs in Europe. Apparently, I needed written permission from the Ministry of Health to allow biological specimens to be exported out of the country. Let that ridiculousness sink for a moment. Yes, I needed permission from the government to send my own biological parts for analysis.
This makes me even more fired to put my own 500GB genome sequence data dump for the public.
