I’m not saying that socialism will succeed alone. Socialism, like anarcho-capitalism and communism are utopian societies that cannot exist when run by imperfect humans.

My argument is mostly that elements of socialism won’t ruin a nation, and have often helped nations, while conservative policies in a capitalist society have tended to push wealth towards the rich and keep a large base of working poor.
