No. This claim is absurd, and shows a lack of understanding of atheism. Atheism is the rejection of a claim of any god. It cannot be wish-fulfillment, because it is not fulfilling anything. It can be described as a default position in the face of an unprovable claim. That the claim of a god is unprovable may be the very thing that makes it wish fulfillment — something is made up to satisfy a human psychological need.
My advice is to not think about Freud as anything other than a pop culture figure; he may have been influential, but his methodology was terrible and his insights now largely irrelevant.
