Parents, remember your child is not your property. It is your charge.

Aside from that, I wonder if that mother would behave like that towards her child if it wasn’t for religion. Does belonging to a religion make you more intolerant? Does “belonging” give you justification or support for a behaviour that would not be acceptable in the society at large?

Human mind is such a big mystery…
