It is vital we acknowledge and own what we do well. Everyone does something well. I call it a gift.
I feel it is usually our upbringing that squashes us feeling we have and do do well. The reality is we all do some thing(s) great.
You are a wonderful wood worker and this is a talent as well as a gift. It brings you pleasure and you enjoy it.
I feel and know it to be true, anything we do with love is filled with love. Whether wood work, cooking, sewing, painting…love is the magic ingredient.
I was not a pretty nor popular girl growing up has buck broken teeth, skinny legs and a southern accent transplanted to a harsh northern environment. It dampened my Spirit in so many ways.
As I grew and got away from the groups of perfect rich kids and adults and kept to myself after being heavily criticized, got my teeth fixed I blossomed.
Years later in life my Mother’s love helped me see that I did good and I am good.
I became the who I am today. I like her. I actually love her.
Bottom line is most of us are not EGO driven attention seekers but real people doing good and that’s what really matters.
