This is not my first experience with Invision (which I adore), but this project is definitely not my favorite.

Making an interactive wireframe is useful to detect errors and adjust functionality at an early stage…but visually, it was an absolute eyesore. To save time on future designs: I anticipate that I will need to let go of my attachment to making visually pleasing prototypes — — at least in the early development phases of a project.

As much as I struggled on this one… I present my wireframe prototype!

edit: I initially forgot to include the prototype instructions!

  • Tap the image box, which will link you to the homepage; in retrospect, I would have made this a loading page that transitions into the homepage.
  • homepage contains a navigational map, with several buttons for various functions
  • Hamburger button (3 lines) opens up a sliding menu with login and registration options. the search function looks for cars in the nearest area. The pin button allows you to adjust your search options (you can press “x” to return to the homepage).
  • Registration button leads you to the sign in screen, login button goes to the login screen. When you tap either screen, you are taken back to the homepage
