The Mixed Reality Revolution is here, and it’ll change your world forever
Lucas Rizzotto

This post does a great job detailing how virtual and physical worlds can and will interact. Also, it provides some excellent examples of potential opportunities and challenges. However, “mixed reality,” as defined by Paul Milgram back in 1994, includes all of augmented reality and virtual reality. The reality–virtuality continuum is a spectrum, as pictured above.

HoloLens, Magic Leap, and other experiential technologies will help bring the virtual and physical together.

Linguistics matters in these confusing times.
