A Monster and His Grails.

I am tired of humans, tired of waiting and hoping for a kind word to ease the constant burden of my desolated mind.

For, although my shield embraces me warmly trying to amend the cracks of my wit ; it does not see beyond my hollow smile.

My fangs have grown sour and drew their most sharp tongue against me, destroying whatever little spirit left within me. Letting me helpless against the maleficent monster creeping in the corners of my reason.

My sword has forsaken me, when I would´ve battled titans and buried most fierce giants just to see it enlighten proudly before me.

And my dear, dear mirror… It broke and crumble before my watering sight, shape shifting for endless cheaps promises of love, I no longer saw my self in it. My shadow disorted horribly in her reflection and reduced me to a disdainful creature, barely a bug of what I once saw upon her bright cristals that enlightened whith love and admiration whenever it called my name.

Oh, but mark me not, for perhaps I was deceived by my most mischievous vanity and a false sense of pride seed by those who claimed to love me, Me! And for that I curse my soul and them. For they care not for me, but for their own shadows wrapping upon my own.

Isn’t that strange? Engulfed by my own silhouette, swallowed by my own darkness, destroyed merely for daring to dream the wildest dreams that inhabit my brains… Still i won´t yield before it. My flesh shall endure whatever spines that incrustate my ears, whatever poison that burns my pride, whatever cold silence that conceals the most hateful shouts against me, whatever else that may come… I shall not yield.

If they say I am a monster, then, surely their eyes are gazing upon a horrid creation, and such creature it´s me.

But by this day! I will delight upon whatever my claws get a grip of or I will cease to be at all.
