Nivea Kid-Tracker ad was awarded the best of 2014 Mobile Grand Prix for its brilliant execution in this integrated campaign. The print ad purpose was to make “lives easier for beach-going families” and included a bracelet that parents could place on their children’s wrist.

Nivea Sun Kids ad extended the product protection to a new level, by “connecting the kids and their parents at the beach”. “The Bluetooth beacon sends a tracking signal to users’ iPhones to let them see where their children are at all times. If a child wanders outside their parents’ preferred area, the app sends an alert immediately” .

I think this ad did a great job on meeting a need while creating a piece that allows parents to develop a personal relationship with the brand.
