Tunahan Kuzu (DENK) arrested by Israeli soldiers

This morning we received the news that the leader of Dutch political party DENK and MP Tunahan Kuzu was arrested by Israeli soldiers and agents. During a working visit to the city of Jerusalem, Tunahan Kuzu was taken by a large group of heavily armed soldiers as he walked toward the Al-Aqsa Mosque.

Unfortunately we do not yet have all the information.

DENK Chairman Tunahan Kuzu is on a working visit to Israel and Palestine. In Jerusalem, he attended Nakba Day last Wednesday and was further informed of the situation by contacting social organizations, historians, NGOs and the business community. Yesterday the DENK delegation was still present at the Dutch embassy in Tel Aviv.
