Let Science Be Science Again
Yangyang Cheng

I was just lamenting the lack of information about the March for Science. Maybe my lack of awareness about the March has more to do with my distance from anyone in the scientific arena, but perhaps also due to insufficient coverage. Your article was fascinating and encouraging. Your personal story was inspirational. I am pleased to know 400 other marches are being planned around the world.

Thank you for writing this, Yangyang. I wish you the best as you travel to and participate in the March. May this March accomplish what you mentioned and so much more. May it remind us that education, research, invention, and ingenuity are what made this country great from the beginning. The only way to Make America Great Again (although I thought it was fairly good before November 8th) is to embrace, encourage, and promote education, research, invention, and ingenuity. May the scientists of the world unite to combat ignorance!

One clap, two clap, three clap, forty?

By clapping more or less, you can signal to us which stories really stand out.
