The hole in my heart is reopened
Jim Reeves
1910

Now you leave me in tears. May the hole in your heart remain because, as I age, I realize it is our holes that keep us whole. Wrap yourself around that hole, warm it, envelope it, know that it is yours. Others may have ones similar but that one is yours. All these holes make us who we are. Don’t hide or ignore it. Don’t try to fill it because your efforts will be futile. Honor it with tears and memories, as all heart holes should be honored. Hugs to you, my friend.
