Cabs. Cabs in New York have been our friend.
Jack Herlocker

Once we are in the city, we now rely mostly on cabs. We used to depend heavily on the subway but those steep steps from street level to the tunnel are so painful now, especially after hours of walking the streets. I just can’t take them anymore!

Because we’ve been staying with Ben’s commuting daughter in Jersey, experiencing the same commute nightmare she does, I am looking into an Airbnb in Manhattan for our 2019 trip. I’d rather spend my energy on seeing NYC than commuting to and from there. Each year our energy reserves decrease — gotta make wise choices with age!
