At the risk of piling on: This “important announcement,” coupled with user comments here and elsewhere, reinforce what many of us have suspected: the EN team has utterly lost touch with its users.

Trumpeting a wordy, jargon-laden, and narcissistic screed about “renewed purpose,” instead of delivering the simple usability features users have been clamoring for (for years!) both beggars belief and betrays management’s true focus.

For me, the takeaway is crystal-clear: Time to begin actively researching an EN replacement.
