The lives of Chinese citizens are becoming more connected with technological innovations. Just as the country prides itself in its four great inventions of ancient China — papermaking, printing, gunpowder, and the compass — netizens have coined the new term of the “The Four New Inventions of China.” These four new great inventions are changing the way people live.
In the summer of 2019, one of my American friends visited China. After traveling to Beijing, Shanghai, Shenzhen, and Chengdu, he reflected that everything he experienced was a fresh new encounter.
