Our Phones !!

We all have them; we all seem to love them but make such a fuss about which one to buy… This one does this, that one does that. They all get the same basic tasks done in similar fashion, and they truly are an extension of ourselves. We’re looking at two operating systems. Be it iOS or Android, there are many comparisons to be made, and pros and cons for both. But, that’s where the similarity stops cold!! I was in the Android camp for many years, moving along with all the others waiting and waiting for system updates. Some of these updates could and did take years. The rest of Android was made ugly and fragmented with manufacturers applying differing skins to their phones, with the exception for the Nexus line. Due to the multitude of Android cell phone manufacturers with some differences in specs and performance from year to year, made me numb and left me frustrated and very unsatisfied with the whole Android experience…

Then one day I decided to look into the Apple offerings. iOS was amazing compared to my frustrations with Android… It was sleek, polished and fast with not so much as a burp in operation. Operating system updates came fast with little if any issues. With dedicated Apple employed developers and their commitment to hardware/software synchronization, iOS has been a pleasure. I don’t think I’ll ever go back to Android, who knows. I do respect Google for it’s attempts to make a fine operating system, but there seems to be to many hands in the pot. And yes, Android phones have a large choice of models, manufacturers, sizes and price differences to choose from, and can cost a lot less, but the high price point for the iPhone is worth it’s build quality, efficiency and performance to me………
