I’m reading Programming Elixir and finding it fascinating. I never thought I would blog about it, much less so about such a simple thing as what I’m about to write down, but it’s hopefully useful for someone else.

The last exercise in Chapter 6 is about finding functions that provide a specific functionality. Elixir comes bundled with lots and lots of builtin functions, of course, but relies on Erlang for others.
