I LOVE this idea! I constantly find myself daydreaming about the freight / goods movement potential in underground tunnels. The Boring company is, in my opinion, starting in the wrong direction; people. If, instead, The Boring company solved logistics problems for major freight movement… say from the Port of Long Beach to LAX, or connecting Tampa Bay to Orlando, I think they could profitably work out any kinks while earning the regulators, and future passengers’, trust.
