I think the key point here is that we have a massive misallocation of resources. Way too many smart people are spending their time and brain power cranking out CRUD apps and plumbing data pipelines.

We need more smart people solving humanity’s biggest problems (food, water, energy, climate) with our emerging, game-changing technologies (AI, biotech, nanotech, robotics).
