When you say upgrade to typescript 2.0, is it just having “typescript”: “^2.0.0” in devDependencies?

Or is it a global installation like npm install -g typescript@next

I did both.

And when I do npm install, I still see UNMET PEER DEPENDENCY typescript@2.0.0
