The app that never was

My brother had an idea of a ‘killer’ android mobile app and knowing that I was the ‘family IT guy’, he approached me to help him make the app. Not wanting to tell him that I didn’t know a thing about android development, I accepted to build it for him.

I sought all the resources i could get and started learning android. I started from learning java then the android part. It was quite challenging as the time frame he had given was not enough. I finally had to tell him what was up and luckily we didn’t end up in a disagreement.

Though i didn’t get to finish the app, I learnt a lot. The main thing I learnt was integrity, if you don’t know something you have to admit it.
