This was a very interesting read. Not only did I learn something new, but it triggered a few thoughts in relation to consumer behavior. Instantly, I thought how impatience can help [or harm] consumers when making purchases. In my opinion, impatience can help consumers because the producer will be more inclined and pressured to satisfy them. If I go into a dealership and become impatient with the salesperson, there is a chance that I will receive an incentive for becoming impatient (they would rather lose a few dollars with a discount versus thousands by losing a customer).
