Well, I am from the future, or at least…I’m IN the future…now…no now…wait…then…but even still, I couldn’t agree more with you on this post.

I’ve had the privilege of meeting some of my design heroes, and while some turned out to be the most amazingly kind people I’ve ever met, others caused me to lose all respect for their work and for them as a human, because of their attitude.

Likewise, I’m way less likely to hire a designer with a bad attitude and a great book than an OK book and an amazing attitude.

Work hard, stay humble and amazing things will happen.
