Single, Available & Very…

It all started from a team building trip in Bali… We were challenged to come up with a viral digital campaign for selected brands. Our team got “Be Stupid” by Diesel, it was a brilliantly executed campaign idea, being stupid is a lot cooler than being smart.
So in the presence of some 50 colleagues, we presented our dare to “Be Stupid” digital campaign idea. A newlywed guy spoke about his secret wish to kiss another man, walked towards the audiences and ‘attempted’ to kiss another stunned male colleague on the cheek. I shared that I’m single, available and very talented, but I chose to be “Be Stupid” and would marry the next guy I laid my eyes on. Took the ring off my finger and walked towards the photographer hired for the event, asking for his hand in marriage. He backed off in shock, missing the private pool behind him by a few steps. I concluded that it was his lost and dared another colleague who claimed that the private pool was inviting, he also chose to “Be Stupid” took off his suit jacket and jumped right into the pool. Needless to say, we wowed the audiences and scored the highest points for the presentation.
In this day and age of connected smart devices, dating has become ‘smart’ with algorithms, all promising to deliver ideal results in seeking the right person. Perhaps, there’s no ‘right’ person. Perhaps, we should all “Be Stupid”. Forget Tinder and ‘hunt in the wild’ like we used to. Instead of matching digital profiles, why not put on your best attributes? I strongly believe that each and every one of us is talented in very unique ways. You could be a heroic firefighter, a fantastic physics teacher, a brilliant student, an awesome rock band singer, a gifted artist… You get the idea! If you are single, available & very talented… Wear it proudly and best of luck to you! Let me know how the dates go… ;P
