Tokenism and targeting are two entirely different things. That’s an important distinction to make in my opinion.

Being contacted as a part of an effort to seek talent outside of your personal network is one thing. (That I am entirely okay with); whereas being sought after as a part of an effort to have a black representative among your ranks is deeply offensive, and in no way helpful.

I know this seems like an issue of semantics, but it is God Awful important to make that distinction as we navigate this terrain and enlighten others.
