A great observation. In my experience, when we are focused on ‘doing’, we see everything from this perspective, including yoga. We start going to yoga because it’s about ‘being’ and connecting with ourselves. Then very quickly we start judging ourselves if we don’t go frequently enough or we feel we are ‘behind’ the rest of the class on flexibility. And we forget WHY we went to yoga in the first place — to just be. Noticing this vicious cycle gives us a chance to step out of it.
