This guide will show you exactly what to expect and how to set-up the RGB light strips with IR controller sold by Desk Tech.
The RGB light strip will ship rolled up on a plastic spool with the IR controller included. Our RGB lights are powered by a USB so you can power them by plugging the USB into a wall socket, power bank or computer. For the Desk Tech Sample desk we have used a USB board as we are powering multiple lights from one wall socket. These are inexpensive and easy to order online, we do not currently stock them but plan to in the future.
The RGB lighting is easy to install wherever you want it. It has tape already attached to the back so you just peel the cover off and stick the light strip to wherever you want it. If you need to change the location no worries, double sided tape can be easily attached to the back to re-stick the strip to where ever you want it.
The remote is simple and easy to use. Point it towards your light strip and select your desired effect. The RGB dots will display a solid colour and the the W dot will display solid white light.
The flash, strobe, fade and smooth settings are lighting effects that will cycle through all available colours in different manners, test them out yourself and choose your favourite.
