Day 25: 60 Letters of Gratitude

Dear Madisen,

Thank you for reminding me to be imaginative. Thank you. You remind me to play. And to play often. Thank you. Your curiosity is delightful and reminds me to maintain a level of healthy curiosity as well. Thank you. I am so fortunate to be able to watch you grow into a young woman. I remember even as a baby you were so smart. At three you were telling us what non-negotiable meant. You are the definition of a sponge soaking up so much knowledge and then squeezing it back out on us adults who know nothing. Thank you.

You are a cheerleader at all times even when there isn’t a game going on. Thank you. I pray that you never stop lighting up the room with your beauty and enthusiasm. I pray that you stay curious and are blessed as you grow. There is so much that I know I will continue to learn from you and that excites me. Thank you for being a blessing to me and my family. Thank you for knowing how to make people smile and laugh. Do not ever stop. Thank you.

I think if you make the heart green they give you a cookie.

I could be wrong. =]
