Day 52: 60 Letters of Gratitude

“You cannot do a kindness too soon because you never know how soon it will be too late.” — Ralph Waldo Emerson

Dear Uncle Bill,

Thank you for being an awesome uncle. I have postcards and gifts from probably before I could even read that you sent from all the cool places you traveled. Thank you. As a kid, it was really cool to read them and to imagine the places you traveled to. Thank you. Thank you for living in California which allowed us to travel and visit yet another place that opened our eyes to the world that is outside of Dallas. Thank you.

Thank you for my cousins. I love them so much. They are so much like you and will be very successful because they have such a great father. Thank you. Thank you for taking us for rides in all the cool cars you rented when you were working in Ft. Worth. Thank you. Thank you for introducing us to Snuffers I love that place and their glorious cheese fries. Thank you. Thank you for letting me stay with you in Vegas and use the explorer. Thank you.

Thank you most of all for contributing to my college career and helping me get a loan when I needed to. Thank you. Thank you for sharing all your motorcycle stories with me when I first decided I want to get a motorcycle. Thank you. Thank you for all that you have done to help me, my sisters and my mom. Thank you. Thank you for always being quick-witted and making us all laugh. Thank you. There are probably a billion things I am grateful for you for. Thank you. I pray that you are blessed to see your children’s children get old. I pray that all your dreams come true. I pray that you are continuously blessed. Thank you for being a blessing to me. Thank you.

Love,
