Wow. I love this perspective. I’ve been working “successfully” for almost 40 years but it has never defined me or been my true passion. This hits the nail on the head. I guess I think of work and interests/passions as separate but equal. Well, maybe not so equal! Thanks for sharing this.
Someone I know recently mentioned that in our hyper-connected world where we are always ‘on’, we should try and achieve a harmonious work life integration rather than a balance so to speak. That really helped me to put my own work-life in perspective.
