Before moving from the spot I wake up in, I do a hundred situps. No matter how groggy I feel, after 10 or so situps my head is absolutely clear and I’m ready to jump up and begin my day . The other 90 are just because. Id like to try some of your ideas, too — I lived taking cold showers for a few months once, and never got to a place where I enjoyed it, but some of your other suggestions sound great and, conceptually, the whole idea is fantastic. Many people I know reach for their phones while their eyes are still closed, and their first few minutes of the day are about IG, twitter, fb, snapchat and all the implicit judgements that come with it.
