This is further evidence of Ukraine’s “creeping offensive” that is in clear violation of the Minsk agreements. The use of the term “grey-zone” is obfuscation. Do Minsk Monitor writers have some ideological reason for not adopting the OSCE’s term “disengagement areas” or are Minsk Monitor writers giving tacit acceptance to the violation of disengagement areas?

The article is also further evidence that Ukraine has no intention of reeling back violent extremists such as Aidar, Azov, Right Sector etc (regardless of what uniforms they are camouflaged in) who appear to spreadhead the “offensive of creeps”. While the creepy suicidal ultra-nationalist extremists have any power you can kiss the Minsk agreements goodbye. They are just about dead anyway as Kiev has shown no good faith whatsoever.

With regards to Yuriy Butusov — is he not the editor in chief of the rag censor.net.ua? Based on what I read in censor.net about MH17 if Butusov has “has good sources” they must be dismayed that he can turn their info into propagandistic rubbish. I think @DFRLab are being optimistic thinking they can find reliable information filtered through him.

Minsk Monitor writers could show a little bit less bias by dropping the pejorative “so called” when referring to the republics as they do have real names, “self-proclaimed” is accurate and more neutral but really just using their real names without injecting silly propagandistic qualifications would help objectivity.
