The Art of…

Have you ever encountered a human in the teens to young adults range, who hasn’t thought “Why am I even doing this?” or “What am I doing?”

I may have met a few, the confident ones, but they’re rare. So rare I could count them on one hand. But let’s just agree, most of us don’t know what’s going on.

And to be honest, that’s fine. It’s normal. It’s what I call, The Art of Chaos.

Chaos.

Anyone. EVERYONE. Each and every human on this planet will go through this. Anyone who says otherwise is either lying or lying.

Everyone has to figure it out. The resources. The path. The destination. Everything.

People always seek to reach their destination soon, so they can settle down faster and lead a happier and fulfilling life.

But honey, come on! What is life without the mystery element floating about in the air, ready to spawn in front of you at a random moment?

You could be relaxing on the balcony on a rainy day and then your career path screams at you. You could be drinking an iced latte and suddenly be dawned upon the thought of how you’re probably wasting your money on caffeine instead of saving it up.

I once thought of what exactly is love in this generation when I was midway through my semester examination. (I got some answers I guess, but that’s another story)

It could range from the smallest inconvenience to the biggest life-threatening thoughts.

That’s alright as well.

Every question has an answer.

Even if you ask me if you can see the wind, I’ll find an answer. It may not be correct. But there’s always an answer.

And this “answer” is what we all seek.

We thrive for it.

We need it.

It’s more like a reassurance. A motivation. An affirmation that you have a blueprint. And that you just need to follow it.

But is that all?

Darling, if that was all, everything would’ve been so simple.

You know when they say “Life doesn’t always go as planned.” It’s true. Nothing ever goes as planned. And that’s why the phrase, “I thought I had it all figured out,” exists.

Get one thing clear here. You make plans. You create the outline of your life. The foundation. The base. And make it strong, ’cause everything that comes after will be built over this.

And this is JUST an outline. JUST a blueprint. JUST a rough idea. In reality, that’s all we need. Life happens. You choose a direction, and life still keeps happening.

And what do you need to do?

Improvise.
Solve.
Grow.

I’m not in any state to tell any of you how to lead your life. In fact, I’m still figuring out mine. I have multiple paths in front of me, and my only dilemma is I don’t know which one will keep me happy and consistent.

I keep saying, there’s time. There isn’t. Time is so short now, I don’t even know how it’s almost April 2024 in a week.

But I’m getting closer. I hope. And I have rebound options. I’ve structured them, mentally. (Smart, I know)
*casual smirk

The chaotic phase exists. And if it hasn’t come to you so far, then honey, brace yourself, it’s coming for you. (Or, like, well done. I’m proud of you either way ❤)

Do what you gotta do. Don’t look back. Color your life the way you want it. Because you do not wanna grow old and think “I could’ve done that.”

NO! Don’t “I could’ve.” Do “I did.”

Push all the negative people in your life off of a cliff. In your head, obviously (or you know, maybe literally). Smash those obstacles like Hulk. Drive your heart like a toddler. Embrace the CHAOS.

Don’t think it. Do it.
(I think I’ve heard that somewhere. Probably some tagline)

P.S. I am not responsible for anyone who pushes off someone from a cliff after reading this. (Choose peace, please.)
