Amazon Web Services (AWS), is the cloud computing platform offered by Amazon. It is designed to make web-scale computing easier for developers. It is very versatile and supports a wide range of services. AWS offers hosting of computer applications, also called as instances or virtual servers, storage (Amazon Elastic Block Store (EBS) and Amazon Simple Storage Service (S3)), databases (Amazon Relational Database Service (RDS) and Amazon DynamoDB), analytics (Amazon Elastic MapReduce (EMR) and Amazon Kinesis), deployment, management, application services, security, mobile services.
