Some great points but your title is misleading. I don’t think people have reluctance to this show because they are afraid of death. More like this show uses suicide to pull in viewers… then tries to say it’s an educational thing. It’s not. It’s pure exploitation. Of Teens. I’m fine with whatever is on TV, etc, all good, but don’t pretend this is some kind of PSA. There are already tons of kids copycats, sending lame texts, scaring teachers, blackmailing other students re TAPEs, the show gave them a platform to bully each other, as if they needed another one. There is no way to put on positive spin on this.
