SOCIAL MEDIA WORKS IN MUSIC ( Pt 2 )



Developing great songs and catchy hooks is how this whole process begins. It’s through your music that fans mimic and share your works with their peers. When this occurs its called fan acquisition. This is when a fan consciously commits to engaging with the artists and purchasing an array of merchandise.


It is because of savvy social media that a band elevates.


So, the question is how can you be amongst the elite group of artists that get social media right?



It starts by creating a plan. The plan should describe in detail how you’re going to gain the attention and access to new fans. Secondly what do you have to offer besides music and a few pictures.


FACT: DID YOU KNOW THAT MAJOR LABELS HAVE CATEGOIRS FOR FANS.


Third: you must place a number on the amount of people needed in your fan base to make your music a career. The reason this is done it helps you realize the true buying power of your tribe . Here is an example ; lets say 5,000 fans purchased $200.00 annually that would be 1,000,000 Dollars .


Remember the most important part of social media is engaging in at least three medias. It doesn’t matter the ones you choose , but it does matter that you put in quality time daily to network with your throngs of fans.
