I’m Devin and have been to the Internet Summit and Downtown Raleigh Several Times. If you haven’t you may find my thoughts helpful throughout the conference.

Do not miss-

  • Breweries. We’ve gotten pretty good at these. Crank Arm is the closest.
  • Barbecue. We’ve been good at this for a long time. Try Clyde Coopers.
  • Basketball. College, that is. UNC, Duke and NC State all play this week. Jimmy V’s is named for the former NC State coach and is within walking distance to watch the games.

Some more cultured people with better writing skills have thoughts on what to do in Downtown Raleigh:

Conde Nast Traveler

Trip Advisor (not all downtown)

NY Times 36 hours in Raleigh

More to come:

Breakfast spots nearby

(Not the conference) lunch spots

Where to sneak out for a drink in the afternoon

Best dinner spots

After hours
