I confess I stopped reading at “White people constantly want to be seperated from their Whiteness ” or other bad examples of us.
Don’t people of color want to be separated from whatever their stereotype is, whether it’s criminal, nerd, high school teacher or house cleaner?
You seem to think every White person gets the priviledge you keep discussing. I think maybe more people who have the trappings of class do, and more White people than any other group have those trappings.
And we also know that if a person of color has those trappings, they may not always get the priviledge that goes with it, but sometimes they also do.
Yes, we want to be seen as people. Who are not all alike. Fancy that.
