DEx.top is a decentralized exchange built on blockchain smart contract. We are the first decentralized exchange that utilizes ROC mechanism (Replayed on Chain). By using both off-chain ledger and on-chain ledger, we are able to provide users with the more secure, instant, and low fee trading experience that none other exchange can compare with. We are not a project that write white papers and promise superfluous things and sell tokens to the public. Our goal from the beginning is to deliver the best product we can create and have our code open source for the world to see.
Currently, there are two main problems that traditional decentralized exchanges are facing, 1) slow trading experience, whether it is placing, cancelling, matching, executing an order, or having slow deposit and withdrawal, 2) high cost of trading due to an inefficient trading mechanism. We intend to solve these problems by having both our ledgers closely synchronizing with each other, where all trading activities are recorded on the off-chain ledger and later replayed (executed in the same fashion and order) and confirmed on the on-chain ledger.
In addition, we know what most users care about is the safety of their funds. DEx.top as an exchange does not store users’ private keys, all assets are stored in the smart contract, and therefore users’ asset will never be lost even in the rare event of DEx.top getting hacked.
Building on the ERC-20 standard token, in the future, we wish to support other public blockchains on our platform such as RSK, BCH, EOS. To narrow the gap of trading pairs between centralized and decentralized exchanges, we will support cross-chain transactions and allow a multitude of trading pairs to our users.
Right now users can use Metamask as their wallet, in the future, we will make efforts to cooperate with other software and hardware wallets such as bitcome, imToken and Ledger. Besides attracting a wide range of users from these various wallet gateways, we will also cooperate with other instant messaging & social media apps such as Yeecall and K-site to build up our community. We also wish to work with other DEX and DEX protocol such as 0x, Kyber, IDEX, DDEX to provide users with a wide range of tokens and liquidity and promote the development of decentralized exchange ecosystem together.
You guys can also look forward to our initiatives to partner with Loom network, District0x, and other blockchains to establish an ERC-721 marketplace, listing tokens generated by these side chains. For more inspirations we need you to join us and give us feedback on what more we should be working on.
We plan to list many quality projects in the near future. Projects on DEx.top will only be listed after meeting a rigorous checklist created by our professional review team with years of engineering, investment banking & risk management experience in Google, Uber, Temasek, etc. Projects can only be listed after receiving a passing score from both our code auditing and voting committee. We welcome all solid promising projects without charging a listing fee, together we will make each other better.
Lastly, to give back to our community we plan to host blockchain training program, trading competition, and many online and offline meet-ups around the world to create a real DEx.top global family.
