Best Cappuccino Cake Recipe

It is created with white cake mix and cappuccino coffee powder and paired with white chocolate & caramel buttercream frosting.

INGREDIENTS
225 G/8 oz self-raising flour
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp cocoa powder, take extra for dusting
225 g/8 oz butter, softened, take extra for greasing
225 g/8 oz golden caster sugar
4 beaten eggs
3 tbsp instant coffee powder, dissolved in 2 tbsp hot water
INGREDIENTS FOR WHITE CHOCOLATE FROSTING
115 g/4 oz white chocolate, broken into pieces.
55 g/2 oz soften butter
3 tbsp milk
175 g/6 oz icing sugar
DIRECTIONS
Sift the flour, baking powder and cocoa into a bowl and add the butter, caster sugar, eggs, and coffee. Beat well, by hand or with an electric whisk, unless it becomes smooth, then spoon into a greased and base-lined shallow 28x18 cm/11x7 inch tin and smooth the top.
Bake in a preheated oven, 180 degree c/350 degree f, for turn out onto a wire rack, peel off the lining paper, and cool completely. To make the frosting, place the chocolate, butter, and milk in a bowl set over a saucepan of simmering water and stir until the chocolate has melted.
Remove the bowl from the pan and sift in the icing sugar. Beat until smooth then spread over the cake. Dust the top of the cake with sifted cocoa, then cut into squares.
