布框戸を用いて改修された団地内の住戸「芦花公園の住宅」
藤田雄介（Camp Design inc.）による築44年の団地の住戸のリノベーションを紹介します。作者が柱間装置と呼ぶ建具が壁に嵌っている住戸形式そのものは継承しつつ、布製の建具（布框戸）というエレメントの導入によって空間の更新が試みられています。
形式のリノベーション
柱と梁の間に、建具や壁が嵌められた形式を柱間装置と呼ぶ。 日本建築の特質である外部環境との連続性や空間の可変性は、柱間装置によって生み出されてきたとも言える。注目したいのは、近代以降、木造ではなくRC造の団地等のインテリアにおいても柱間装置が採用されてきたことだ。形骸化されながらもインテリアに用いられてきたのは、柱間装置がうみだす場所性が日本人にとって拠り所となってきたからだろう。
この建物は、築44年の分譲化された団地である。約50㎡の住戸で、一般的な団地同様に柱間装置によって仕切られていた。プランニングの問題からか、柱間装置を用いた日本建築がつくりだす連続性や可変性は感じられない状態だった。そこで既存の形式を切り捨てて新たな形式を用いるのではなく、エレメントの導入によって現在的なものに更新できるのではないか。素材は一新されながらも懐かしさや記憶を受け継いだ、あったかもしれない風景を顕在化できるのではないかと考えた。
新たに導入するエレメントとして、布框戸（ぬのかまちど）という建具を製作した。これは障子のような透過性と襖のような軽やかさを併せ持っている、障子と襖の間の閾となる建具である。好きな布を張ったり、寒冷紗を張り網戸にしたり、自らカスタマイズできる仕様になっている。既製の障子や襖の枠は、溝７分（21mm）・溝同士の間は３～５分（9~15mm）と規格化されている。この規格に合わせてを製作し、製品化したものを実際に販売している*。団地に柱間装置が採用されている慣習を活かして、布框戸が団地改修で汎用されるツールとなり、団地というビルディングタイプを更新するエレメントになることを目指している。

Renovation of format

As elements that newly inserted, I was manufactured joinery that the cloth Wooden frame door. This and transparency such as Shoji, has both the lightness such as Fusuma, a joinery, such as the middle of Shoji and Fusuma. You can stretched favorite cloth, or a cheesecloth to tension screen door, it is to the specifications that you can customize their own. The framework of the off-the-shelf Shoji and Fusuma, between the groove 21mm · groove is 9~15mm and the normalized.
