I don’t expect to go viral. I have hundreds of pages of stuff I have written in a password protected Word file (yes, I said Word) that no one has ever read, and hopefully no one ever will.

Writing for an audience beyond myself changes the way that I write and forces me to be more organized and actually complete projects, even if that audience is a mere handful of strangers.
