Lah-dee-dah.

A bipartisan legislative group that wants to submit a bill that would establish a commission to produce a report in about 18 months that will produce suggestions on how governments and companies might want to reduce their energy use, maybe someday, if it’s not too inconvenient . . .

Meanwhile, President Donald J. Shart is about the dump the Paris Agreement, gut the Clean Power Plan, wants to eliminate earth science and satellite coverage from NASA’s mission statement, wants to dump EnergyStar ratings (though the program is both entirely voluntary and highly effective) and holds a blazing lump of coal aloft as the Torch of Freedumb.

Color me profoundly unimpressed by these “reasonable Republicans” and their milquetoast Democratic allies. This doesn’t even rise to the level of deck chair-rearranging.
